We aim to ship all in-stock frames within 2 business days. Here's what you can expect:

• Shipping Options

  • USPS Ground Advantage: Shipping is calculated at checkout. Standard shipping takes 4-6 business days, and this option is available to anywhere in the United States. 

  • USPS Priority: Need your order a little faster? Choose USPS Priority for $17.99, with an in-transit time of 2-3 business days. This option is available for addresses within the United States.

  • UPS Ground: For $19.99, UPS Ground offers delivery in 1-5 business days, and is available for addresses in the United States.

Shipping Policy for Canadian Accounts

At Luminous Optical, we’re committed to making it seamless for our Canadian partners to receive their eyewear orders. Below is an overview of shipping options, delivery expectations, and how duties and taxes are handled.

Duties & Taxes (DDU vs. DDP)

We offer two different duty handling options, depending on the shipping method selected at checkout:

DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid)

With DDU shipments, duties, taxes, or brokerage fees may be collected upon delivery by the carrier or customs authority.

DDP (Delivered Duty Paid)

Our FedEx International Connect Plus service now supports DDP shipping for Canadian accounts.

✔ No surprise charges upon delivery
✔ Faster, smoother customs clearance

We recommend selecting FedEx International Connect Plus for the most predictable and streamlined delivery experience.

Order Minimums

To help offset higher international shipping costs, we recommend a 3-frame minimum for Canadian orders.

USPS First Class International → Canada Post (DDU Option)

FedEx International Connect Plus (DDP Option)

• Duties & taxes: DDP – included upfront with shipping cost

• Shipping cost: Calculated at checkout - pricing starts at $35 CAD

• Estimated delivery time: 2–7 business days
